Projects
The UIC MinER Center conducts domestic and international research related to health and safety in the mining industry. Our main research focuses are on the epidemiology of mineral dust lung diseases and mining-related injury. We have projects that evaluate chest imaging, physiology, and the pathology of these diseases.
